Fieldays newcomers Bushbuck clothing share their experience with Chantel Strydom.

Bushbuck, a two-year-old clothing and gear company based in Christchurch, are first timers to Fieldays.

Owned and operated by Timothy Dunn, Toby Nicholls and Nick Morris, Bushbuck was created in 2012.

The company is solely web based and provides quality hunting and farming gear that is versatile and comfortable.

“We do high quality stuff, so a lot of people looking for clothing they can use everyday on the farm,” Nicholls said.

“We sell only on web so that we can control our (profit) margins,” Dunn added.

On their first time as exhibitors at Fieldays Timothy said “it’s insane. I came up last year just to see the bench mark of like what we needed and what kind of size, what kind of look and feel. It’s not cheap.”

“We couldn’t believe it,” Nicholls said. “Today is the first day, and I had no idea.

“It’s a premiere event for the industry we are in. It hits the target market.”

Their tent embodies the outdoors with brown and green tones and empty buck skulls.

“We did all the displays, we built the timber, we did everything,” Nicholls said.
