Honda’s Fieldays exhibit makes an eye-catching display fully equipped with a water feature.

The stall won best agribusiness outdoor site and took five weeks of preparation, including three-weeks on-site, said general manager Alan Petrie.

“I think it is quite simple – the farming community is our heart. We invested in this site because we wanted our exhibit to reflect that,” Petrie said.

He said that sales have been understandably affected by the current hardships in the farming industry.

“We are doing okay. But at the end of the day we appreciate that it’s a challenging market,” Petrie said.

It was Honda exhibitor Marcus Channing’s first time at Fieldays. He said he was enjoying it so far and was satisfied with the award they received.

“All the hard work has paid off. It took a lot to set up so it’s good to see some fruit after all the labour,” Channing said.

The veteran exhibitors have won the award previously, a number of years ago.

The stall is easily spotted just behind the Village Green.
