Innovation and creative design have secured a site award for the Korea Trade Commission (Kotra).

Korean fashion and culture were also displayed in the Best International Agribusiness exhibit.

Trade commissioner Rakgon Kim said they wanted to show the diversity of Korea to the New Zealand public.

“We try not to only show agricultural machinery and materials, but also Korean fashion, taste and culture,” Kim said.

He said it was their first time exhibiting at Fieldays.

“Kotra is promoting economic exchange between two countries. We have had a small delegation here since 2012. This is the first year we have had an exhibit.”

He estimates the stall has around 1000 visitors per day.

It is located beside the pavilion and features tasters of Korean cuisine.
