Their decision to keep things fresh has paid off and they are going home with the title of Best Medium Outdoor Agribusiness site.

Julian Gascoine was in charge of the display and said after everything that has gone into it, they’re “chuffed”.

“We just stepped up, we’ve obviously spent some more money [and] we’ve got some more product on display this year,” Gascoine said, “It’s just trying to display the product in a real world environment.”

He said the interest in the display has been “phenomenal”.

Gascoine says people said good things about the display last year but this year the comments are even better.

Fieldays visitor, Steve Vaughn said the display was really rural looking.

“It’s really natural and creative,” he said “It grabs your attention when you’re walking by.”

Can Am worked with Silver Fern Marques before Fieldays to come up with an interactive and eye-catching display.

Gascoine said the planning process is the longest part and a lot of work from everyone goes into it.

“It only took us about a week to actually set it up.”

He’s said he didn’t want the display to look surgical or boring.
“You can tell by the people looking at the stand now, people see the display and think ‘hey that’s cool and come in’” he said.

He didn’t want to give all his secrets away, but said the price of the display has already been worth it.

“It’s been excellent, the enquiries have been very, very good – probably beyond our expectations.”
