“The needs of the farmer are changing all the time,” said Alliance rep Graham Jones.

The winner of the best Indoor Agribusiness site has been to Fieldays the last four years and manufacture tyres in India and Israel.

The Alliance Farmpro 2 range has attracted the most interest this year and acts as an all-purpose tyre for tractors.

“All your farm trailers, bailers, rakes,” said Jones showing the product capabilities.

The tyres are made from a complex mix of artificial and natural rubbers sourced from Southeast Asia and South America.

“Certain components of the tyres are synthetic because they do some jobs better such as heat resistance. Natural is better to avoid chips.”

The price range of the tyres change dramatically with size, starting as low as $700 and going as high as $2000.

“It’s a huge price range depending on what people go on,” said Jones.

The Flotation Radial tyres are also new and are designed to create minimal soil impact that may affect seeding.
