Specializing in both video and photography, the new company is already involved with some of the biggest concerts coming to New Zealand.

Most notable is A$AP Rocky, a hugely popular hip hop artist from America, who will be playing at the Logan Campbell Centre in Auckland on June 25.

In collaboration with Mai FM, Odd. will  film the performance.

Owners Isaac Lyon and Robbie Gilmore, both 21, have spent the last year working within the entertainment industry to get to this point.

Their work includes nightclub photography, music videos for New Zealand artists and, more recently, of music festivals and concerts.

In only a year they have worked at Rhythm and Vines and Soundscape as well as concerts for Belgian Drum and Bass DJ Netsky and English Drum and Bass duo Chase and Status

“We started Odd. as a photo and video company but we had the intention to be a collective,” Isaac says.

South Seas Film School graduate Isaac says he was looking for “something different” when he met Robbie.

“[After South Seas] I wanted to do something different, I wanted my own creative freedom. I wanted to make a video and be able to say ‘that was 100 percent me’.”

Isaac, is the head videographer while Robbie, who is currently studying a Bachelor of Media Arts in photography at Wintec, is the director of photography.
