The pair will present a collaboration of both improvised and practised sound incorporating electro acoustic, post-punk and rock music, environmental sound and technology.

Audiences will be treated to a performance of an award-winning sound including background video imagery.

“The show’s sound will be very organic,” says Macpherson.

In 2005, Haco’s CD – Stereo Bugscope 00 –  was awarded a prize in the digital music category at Prix Ars Electronica in Austria.

Haco’s Spark talk and workshop is in  The Hub on Friday 17, at 9am.

Bugloop featuring Kent Macpherson will premier on Thursday 16 at 8pm.

All Wintec Spark events are free.
