Campus development project manager, Miko Brouwer said the renovation will include two large pushed out glass windows to form entrances for students and to the Ramp Gallery, which will get additional space to host events.

“It will be a better front for Media Arts, which will give the students an open area and a nice social space.”

Head of the School of Media Arts, Margi Moore said the modernising of their facilities is exciting and will improve the profile and visibility of the school to the public.

“Overall it means we will have improved facilities that are more in line with the way we teach and deliver.”

The work is due to be completed in early 2013.
