Marketing executive for Imageland,  Amanda McArthur, feels the fundraiser went well.

“[I am happy with] how generous people have been with their bidding, they didn’t hold back which is really awesome,” she said.

Award winners were announced at a ceremony held at Imageland’s Victoria Street store last Friday.

Twelve-year-old Jordan Dick won the intermediate art category. He said it was the first art competition he had entered and that it was definitely something he would do again.

Imageland’s general manager Jenna Clements is thankful for everyone who entered, and said the standard of entries was high.

“The photographic general public, they were quite [a] high [standard], much higher than we expected, most of those have sold.”

Clements added that another fundraiser was possible as, from her knowledge, the response from Hospice has been positive.
