Waikato fans of Twilight are in for a treat when two actors from the films come to Hamilton next month as part of the Armageddon fantasy event.
Tinsel Korey (Emily) and Bronson Pelletier (Jared) are the big drawcards for the two-day show, which will make its Waikato debut at Claudelands Events Centre.
It is the first stop for the science fantasy and gaming mega show on its 2012 tour, before carrying on to Wellington, Christchurch and Auckland.
Event director Bill Geradts says he is “thrilled” to be bringing the expo to Hamilton. He said he had been waiting a long time to have the show there. “Now with the venue and Hamilton City Council on board, it’s all go.”
Among other actors coming to Hamilton will be Dave Wittenburg, who has done voices for Family Guy and is one of the key voices from the hit cartoon Naruto.
The expo, which runs on April 14-15, will be full of PlayStations and Dell computers showcasing the latest in gaming technology. There will also be memorabilia stands, selling everything from medieval swords to Stormtrooper armour.

- Student (with ID) – $17.
- Children (5-12) – $10 (or free entry for one child with one full paying adult)
